Paddle Shifter (Downshift Switch) Replacement (A/T)
SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and the precautions and procedures before doing repairs or service.
Remove the steering wheel.
Remove the four screws (A) securing the steering wheel rear cover (B), then remove the steering wheel rear cover.
Remove the paddle shifter пјЌ (downshift switch) connector (A) from its holder, and disconnect the connector.
Remove the screws (B) securing the paddle shifter пјЌ (C), and remove the paddle shifter пјЌ.
Install a new paddle shifter пјЌ on the steering wheel, and secure it with the screws.
Connect the paddle shifter пјЌ connector securely, and install the connector in the connector holder.
Install the steering wheel rear cover.
Install the steering wheel.
