Honda Fit: Rear Door Pad Replacement
'11-13 models
NOTE:
-
Put on gloves to protect your hands.

Take care not to scratch the door.

Remove the door panel.
-
Disconnect the power door lock actuator connector, and detach the harness clips.

Remove the plastic cover, as needed.
-
Raise the glass fully.
-
Remove the clip securing the pad (A), and release the hooks (B), then remove it.
-
Install the pad in the reverse order of removal.
When installing the door panel, make sure the plastic cover is installed properly and sealed around its outside perimeter to seal out water.

Raise the vehicle on the lift.
Drain the engine coolant.
Disconnect the ECT sensor 2 connector (A), then remove the harness clamp
(B).

Reassembly
Install the upper spring seat (A) to the upper spring seat clip (B).
NOTE: Make sure to securely set the upper spring seat to the hook (C) on
the spring seat clip.
